I’m going for an interview this evening at 4.30 pm KL time (9.30 am UK time). There’ll be 3 people who will be in the interview panel. I’m always lousy at interviews..lol. I hope my tongue will work fine this time. Oh my.. oh my.. nervous! By the way, the interview is to see whether I’m a suitable candidate to join a research group at U of Sheffield, UK. Whatever it will be, I have to go through this. Wish me luck!

Dont worry and dont be nervous. Always remind yourself that they need you more than you need them. Don’t worry about your tounge…it is magic..LOL. Dont forget to show your manners, be polite and take your time to think before you speak. Everyone will be nervous when they attend interview. Be prepared…try to write down or write in notepad of what you are going to answer for some usual Q’s like :
1) What is your ambition/goal in life?
2) How can you be beneficial to us?
3) Why must we pick you?
4) What have you done before that are related with what you are going to do now.

For every Q, take your time, but be enthusiastic as you can be. Show them you got what it takes. Dont worry if you goreng2. If you dont understand what they are saying, ask them to repeat the Q. If you cannot answer, goreng je (later on you try la to learn abt it) and most important is for you to say to them that you will try your best to learn things that you are not familiar with and you will not let them down.
