5.00 am – Woke up for Subuh prayer, then sleep again till 6.15. Took my bath, packed and then went downstairs for breakfast. Left W3000 for TJ (the hostel owner) for laundry last nite and walked to the bus terminal with Rebecca. It was a long 20 mins walk with 12kg bag on my shoulder and two legs which were aching from 6 days of sight seeing.  We missed the 8 o’clock bus and have to wait for another 55 mins for the next one. Wani just found out there was something wrong with hwr camera. Gosh.. We have 4 items which can capture pictures, and now we are only left with two smartphones. Problem is, the phones’ batteries last only 2-4 hours when used extensively. Luckily in South Korea, we can find plug socket easily in most places, including in individual toilets.

10.30 am – arrived in Gimpo/Gimhae Airport. Leave the luggage on the left luggage department, then took some time to recharge the phone while Wani went to do some research on how to explore Busan. Busan was not actually on our list, but since we have finished cover up most places lined up previously, so we have time to add Busan in the list. In this trip, Wani did most of the planning and so far I don’t have any problem with it. I’m glad that actually we kind of shared the same interest on places to visit and things to see.

12.10 am – arrived at the Seomyeon bus stop in the city centre with bus 201 which cost me W1800. This is where bus transit to subway can be done easily. Found the subway entrance (which is quite difficult to find without guidance from the tourist map) and bought each one day pass for W3500.  The tourist map is also hard to find, we have to make sure to get one every time arriving at a new city.

First stop is to Gwangan beach.  There is this famous San Francisco bridge alike which is stunning to see at night with all the light show etc.  The weather is cloudy today.  Most of the pictures were taken using my phone and pictures look a bit dull mostly.  But the experience of seeing them with my own eyes gives satisfaction that cannot be described with words.

Next, we were heading to Haeundae Beach. It all started with me, I think, who wants to capture the best sight of the Gwangan bridge, so we walked towards the end of the beach. Then, we realised that we are heading to Shensigae Mall, which are awarded as the largest shopping mall in the world.  That’s like 4 or 5 subway stop from Haeundae Beach!  We can’t find any subway entrance so we head to the mall. It’s huge, only thinking about walking into the mall made me feel more tired than ever.  Took the underground subway   attached to the mall and heading to Haeundae Beach.

04.30 pm – At the Heundae beach.  It was raining and it seems that the city was preparing for a beach festival.  Took some interesting pictures on sand figuring, which I know would interest Hazeeq(*pic).

There was free wifi at the beach which is awesome but sadly there is something wrong with my HTC as the uploading pics to FB doesn’t work out anymore :( .

5.30 pm – Rushing back to the subway and took bus number 201 from Seimyeon again to the airport.
At the airport, took our bag, then went for check in. The system was really efficient. The gate close at 7.40 and depart at 7.55.  In 15 mins, they expect the passengers can wait to board. While waiting for boarding, we had dinner at the Sweet Buns.  I used the chance to do Zuhur n Asr prayer at the corner of the cafe. Had a vegetable sandwich which had crab meat inside (totally not a vegetarian meal), and a tuna sandwich.

9.00 pm – The flight took us to Jeju in about 1 hour. We managed to catch the 9 pm bus to New Kyang Nam Hotel.  From the stop after another 1 hour journey, we walked 20 minutes towards Jeju Hiking Inn. Wow.. The room looks traditional (*pic). At 12.30, we slept after a very long day.
